The World of Women and Men
Sometimes, with dread, I await tomorrow
But in the end it's just wasted sorrow
As well as I know from yesterday
Scattered and jumbled are my thoughts today
You want to be me and I the same
If it's hell we've been through, let's not do it again
If it's praise, I'm wanting, don't be misled
It's just a collection to purchase a bed
Not a room could be found
Among civilized men
Yonder stable doth lack a bed
